Abstract
These are my Abstract photos, which consist of a shell, a vent, and a piece of chicken wire. I believe that these images are abstract because many people would have different opinions on what each item is. With this basic definition I made the foundations of my photos with this concept.
These motion pictures depict myself and my brother using an object to depict motion. I am using a soccer ball and trying to keep it off the ground, or juggling, and my brother is using a bicycle and a basketball. For my photo, I used a self timer and a high shutter speed to stop the football while it was in midair. For both of my brother's photos, i was behind my camera while using a high shutter and aperture. In Photoshop, I used the crop technique to fix up the picture and the Brightness/Contrast tool to control the brightness. I think these came out pretty good, but i could have used different techniques in Photoshop to try and clear up the picture and make it look clean. I could of tried to use a higher shutter speed on these pictures to try and get them to come out better and sharper..
Motion
The subjects of these portraits are myself, my brother Andrew, and my brother Nathan. Andrew likes to play games on my mum's phone, so i took a picture of him that reflects with this. Nathan likes to be the centre of attention, and so I depict him here standing tall and proud. I sometimes like to take a few minutes and just stare off somewhere to think about things that are going on in my life, and this reflects that feeling. I made sure my camera was on the right aperture and shutter speed settings so that my light meter was in the middle. For my shot I used a 10 second timer that is on my camera. In Photoshop, I used the crop tool to make the picture look better and to take out any excess negative space. I used the Brightness/Contrast tool to fine tune each picture and I used the Saturation
tool tofix up any bland spots in colour. I feel that these images came out fine, I could have used more tools
in the Photoshop Application to try and fine tune these pictures even more.

Historical Selfie
JFK was the 35th President of the United States, as his term lasted from 1961-1963. This photo was in black and white because many photos were still black and white and the technology might not have been good enough for color selfies. He is here sitting at his desk working on the Cuban Missile Crisis.
The picture below used the automated zoom to try and show more of the main focus of the picture, the two students.
Nature
These nature photos are based upon the sun coming from the trees, a pond with a barge, where kids like to jump off into the lake, in the front of the picture, and one of a small river that flows through the forest. These photos remind me of the woods, which is what a think of when I hear the word "nature." I used the rule of thirds to set the main part of my image and I used a shutter speed that corresponded with my aperture and the amount of light that was coming from the sun. I believe that these pictures could have been better if I had read my light meter better or maybe edited these pictures to keep the pictures either lighter or darker.
